BIOGRAPHY Mar Omega is an artist / entertainer, currently based out of Austin, TX, with artistic talents of many kinds. His work has been published in magazines and comic books as well as broadcast on cable networks. Omega worked as a camera operator and steadicam assistant (among several other positions) at MSNBC and CNBC in New York and New Jersey. He worked primarily on IMUS In The Morning on MSNBC and Jim Cramer's MAD MONEY on CNBC. He was one of the camera operators for Jim Cramer's cameo in the IRON MAN film by Marvel Studios. For several years, Mar held several careers at once, including Side Show Performer. While working for news networks and media outlets by day, Mar Omega performed at venues such as the Starland Ballroom, Murphy's Third Rail, Hard Rock Cafe, Albion / Bat Cave, QXT and several venues in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Asbury Park and bars in New Jersey. He was trained by long-time friend and 20+ year circus and side show veteran, Danson. They worked together for over two years as a traveling two-man ten-in-one show. After a performance on Halloween of 2006, Mar took on an apprentice, Lady Kyra, and ultimately courted and then married her on October 30 of 2007. Now in Austin, TX, Mar Omega illustrates storyboards for feature films, manages Capstone Comics, pencils and colors comic pages and works on his own films. In early 2008, the Omegas opened a new company called Mar Omega UNLIMITED. In Stanhope, New Jersey, Mar and Kyra built a studio where they can create carpentry, molds, latex monsters and prosthetics and other props.
